These terms apply when you use cpdacademy.uk and the student portal at learn.cpdacademy.uk, or buy a course from CPD Academy UK. By creating an account or enrolling you agree to them.
1. Your account
Keep your login details private and give us accurate information. Accounts are personal and may not be shared. We may suspend accounts that are misused.
2. Courses and access
Once enrolled, you get online access to the course for as long as we offer it. We may update course content to keep it accurate and relevant.
3. Prices and payment
Prices are shown at checkout in US dollars and are a one-time payment unless stated otherwise. Payments are processed securely by Stripe.
4. Coupon codes
Coupon codes issued to universities and partners are single-use, non-transferable and have no cash value. Codes obtained or shared improperly may be cancelled, together with any enrolment made with them.
5. Cancellations and refunds
Because courses are digital content available immediately, when you buy you agree that access starts straight away. Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 this means the usual 14-day cancellation right ends once you start accessing the course. If you have not started the course, you can ask for a refund within 14 days of purchase through our contact page. This does not affect your statutory rights if a course is faulty or not as described.
6. Certificates
A CPD certificate is issued when you complete all lessons and pass the final assessment where one applies. Each certificate has a unique verification link. We may withdraw a certificate obtained by cheating or misuse.
7. Acceptable use
Do not copy, resell or publicly share course materials, share quiz answers, or try to disrupt or gain unauthorised access to our systems.
8. Intellectual property
All course content, videos, slides and branding belong to CPD Academy UK or our licensors. You may use them for your own learning only.
9. Liability
Courses are for general professional development and are not a substitute for advice specific to your situation. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the course concerned.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. The version that applies is the one in force when you make a purchase.
11. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you may also bring a claim in your local courts.
